Here is today's email:

Good morning everyone,

Here are today's updates:

1)The Girls Division Schedule is now online in the UPA's Score Report Tool. Please look it over and let me know if you see any mistakes. You should be comparing it to the schedule that's posted on the competition schedule page.

2) There are around 700 players, coaches, and chaperones coming into town this weekend. That's a whole lot of paperwork. Last year I made it to a 98% completion rate. This year I want to make it to 100%. So, please make sure you are on top of all of your chaperone waiver forms, player waiver forms, and player dues. All outstanding paperwork should be handed off to a tournament director at the captains meeting. Remember that all teams must hand in chaperone waiver forms, even if you are 100% sure you have sent them in already. Note: If we find you playing with an unrostered player, you and your team will be asked to leave. Immediately. We will be checking on this.

3) Dinner was paid for several weeks ago. At this point I am unable to change our order, so I am therefore unable to give a refund on unused dinner tickets. Sorry.

4) The weather for this weekend looks really, really, great! Again, that being said, this is northern Vermont, so really weird stuff can happen. Be prepared.

5) Some teams have still not filled out the cell phone contact list form. Do this. Now.

6) The sidelines must stay clear. Tents, chairs, and other gear must stay as far away from the sidelines as possible. We will have people walking around all weekend making sure the sidelines stay clear. I take this very seriously. If you don't, think on this: In 2005 a player at college nationals dove for a disc, landed out of bounds on a folding chair, and punctured his lung.

7) It is very important that at least two adult chaperones stay with your team at all times. If one of your players has to go to the hospital, an adult must go with them, and one needs to stay with your team. If you only have one adult and one of your players has to go to the hospital, your whole team has to go to the hospital.

8) Remember that everyone is invited to the dinner/dance/trade night (6-10pm, SJA), even if you're not eating dinner. There is lots going on including: a massive dance, bouncy castle, bouncy obstacle course, video games, trading tables, adult-only chill out room, all tournament photo (7:30pm), and a general sense of wonder. It's going to be a great time.

See you soon!

- Seamon
